With more and more companies “going global” to grow their business, it is extremely important to secure data privacy and confidentiality as organizations share more and more data with more and more users. The paper introduces one Perficient strategy and solution on how to obfuscate sensitive production data or generate realistic – but not real – data to seed project tests in an automated way. Accordingly, one process pattern was proposed to provide key activities, templates and deliverables and can be incorporated in project practice.
