Oracle Platinum Partner Perficient to Showcase Expertise at Oracle’s Kscope13 Conference

Perficient expert to discuss successful Oracle EPM reporting implementation for client Carrizo Oil and Gas

SAINT LOUIS (June 18, 2013) Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced the company will serve as a Silver Sponsor and present on enterprise performance management (EPM) technologies at Oracle’s ODTUG Kscope13 conference.  Kscope13, which takes place June 23-27 in New Orleans, is a conference for developers, technical architects and business users to gain insights on Oracle technologies and applications including business intelligence, Oracle EPM, Fusion Middleware and Application Express.

Enterprise organizations face an increasingly competitive and regulated business environment and are challenged with managing historical information, current results and predictive analytics to make effective business decisions. To be successful, executives must have a transparent and real-time view into key business drivers including financial data.

“Nimbleness and transparency are key when making sound, financial business decisions, and many companies still use manual reporting processes to budget, forecast and report on key metrics,” said Santhosh Nair, general manager of Perficient’s Oracle EPM business unit. “As an Oracle Platinum Partner, Perficient partners with clients to implement key Oracle technologies and applications like Hyperion Financial Management and Essbase solutions to help automate processes and ensure financial data integrity, resulting in more accurate and timely information for business-decision making.”

Perficient recently partnered with Carrizo Oil and Gas, a Houston-based energy company, to improve their business-decision making through streamlined financial reporting. Perficient worked with Carrizo’s chief financial officer to review their unique financial and reporting needs. In doing so, the company determined it would implement Oracle’s Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Data Quality Management and Oracle Essbase solutions to simplify and restructure Carrizo’s monthly financial close process. Carrizo was able to obtain a comprehensive financial close, financial reporting and operational reporting solution that ensured accurate, timely and relevant business decisions could be made.

During Kscope13, Perficient Oracle EPM expert Matt Hopkins will present the case study “Mid-Market Energy Co. Uses HFM with Essbase for Seamless Reporting” in which he will review how Carrizo worked with Perficient to implement Oracle technologies to perform their financial close and external reporting process, and perform their detailed operating and management reporting. Hopkins also will highlight how, with Perficient, Carrizo addressed their needs of reporting their lease operating statements for gross and net dollar amounts, and reporting based on general ledger and production dates. Hopkins will present during Session 10 on June 25 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

In addition, as a Kscope13 Silver Sponsor, Perficient experts will be in Booth #405 to discuss Oracle EPM and business intelligence solutions for companies needing to classify, aggregate and correlate data into meaningful business insight. Visitors to the booth can learn how Perficient can help map business processes against Oracle technology to deliver profitable, customer-centric solutions.
