SAINT LOUIS (June 16, 2014)Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced the company will serve as a Bronze sponsor and present on business intelligence (BI) technologies at Oracle’s ODTUG Kscope14 conference. With increased competition and rising regulations comes the need for enterprises to efficiently manage historical information, current results and predictive analytics. To be successful, executives must have a transparent and real-time view into key business drivers, so they can classify, aggregate and correlate data into noteworthy insights that steer effective business decisions.

“When it comes to enterprise intelligence, there are generally numerous data sources to oversee. The challenge lies in sifting through what’s significant and interpreting results in meaningful ways that yield action and improved performance,” said Emil Fernandez, vice president of Perficient’s Oracle national business unit. “Ensuring information is linked throughout an organization and backed by reliable, innovative technologies can ultimately streamline processes and ease the responsibilities of management. Perficient is pleased to help sponsor and take part in Kscope14.”

During Kscope14, Perficient Oracle BI expert Patrick Abram will present the session “Empower Mobile Restaurant Operations Analytics with Oracle Business Intelligence and Endeca.” Abram will discuss how multi-unit, multi-concept restaurant companies can compare performance data across concepts, maximize fraud detection capabilities, and arm restaurant operators with the data they need to react to changes affecting immediate operations and long-term goals. Abram will share how an integrated solution of Oracle Business Intelligence and Oracle Endeca Information Discovery can deliver relevant, actionable mobile analytics for the restaurant industry. The presentation will take place during Session 1 on Monday, June 23, from 10:45 – 11:45 a.m.

Additionally, Perficient Oracle BI expert Kathryn Watson will deliver the presentation “When Facts and Dimensions Alone Aren’t the Answer: Logically Reversing the Star Schema” during Session 12 on Wednesday, June 25, from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. Watson will address the what’s, why’s, and when’s surrounding the Reverse Star Schema, an alternative to the classically designed dimensional models for effective business intelligence applications. She will highlight real-world case studies at one of the nation’s top-tier health systems, demonstrate OBIEE implementation techniques, and prepare attendees for architecting the complex and sophisticated BI applications of the future.

Along with the speaking sessions, as a Kscope14 Bronze sponsor, Perficient experts will be available at Booth #509 to discuss customers’ technology needs and overall strategy of Oracle applications through leadership, user experience and integration assessments that apply to all product lines.
