Vendor specialist: Documentum

At Perficient, our Documentum specialists are consultants with deep expertise in the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise-content management (ECM) solutions that leverage Documentum's technology offerings. We have built a very strong team of Documentum consultants. Our focus on the ECM space and our partnership with EMC enables us to stay on the cutting edge of enterprise technology solutions.

As a specialist in our Documentum National Business Unit (NBU), you will work as a member of Perficient project teams delivering full lifecycle solutions that meet our client's business needs. Key responsibilities may include:

• Drive the translation and construction of a client's complex business problems into innovative technology solutions within a multidisciplinary environment
• Be a key team member from requirements definition through implementation
• Support New Business Development activities by supporting client meetings, writing technical sections of proposal responses, and presenting architecture and technical vision
• Serve as primary Documentum architect on multiple engagements
• Design, and development of reusable application components in Documentum and other emerging technologies
• Develop prototypes and demonstrations for potential clients and engagements in the appropriate technologies
• Complete project lifecycle and quality assurance of engagements
• When required, represent Perficient at partner functions and user conferences

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

• Team player with excellent organizational capabilities
• Expert analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work on projects in different roles - architect, analyst, developer, administrator and trainer
• Proactive with the ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communications
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead a team
• 2+ years of recent experience working with Documentum products
• Experience with 4x and 5x versions preferred
• Experience with related technologies like databases, DFC, Java, JSPs, Visual Basic, XML, XSL and COM preferred. Experience with integrated products like Captiva InputAccel, Kofax, SAP and portals are a plus
• Prior consulting experience is a plus
