CRM: Keynote
Challenge
Keynote offers a broad range of services to its
client base, and needed to upgrade its Siebel CRM system to expand
its business in line with growth. Keynote is growing through acquisition,
and needed a strategy for integrating and enabling new business
units through the Keynote corporate Siebel platform while leeping
within Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations. Keynote also wanted to
modernize, increase functionality and reduce customizations in the
application to decrease support costs, and to take cost and complexity
out of its IT infrastructure.
Solution
Perficient performed an enterprise-wide upgrade
of Keynote’s Siebel system and added key new functionality
based on SOA architecture that will provide more flexibility for
future upgrades. Perficient also removed existing custom code and
made a more configurable hierarchy that leveraged standardized attribute-based
pricing models. Other enhancements allowed tighter accounting control
over products and pricing, providing a foundation for meeting SOX
requirements. Perficient not only mapped the business requirements
of Keynote to the new Siebel functionality, but lead the implementation
efforts and enabled Keynote’s IT staff to maintain the system
once the upgrade was complete.
