A Modern Look and Enhanced UX with Adobe

Symantec, the global leader in cyber security, helps enterprises secure and manage their information.

Symantec was eager to build a new website and migrate from its legacy system to Adobe Experience Manager. Facing a fixed, 10-month timeline to deliver the new site, Symantec realized its internal resources were too limited and engaged us to help based on our deep expertise with Adobe Experience Manager. However, this single project turned into two when Symantec spun off Veritas during the engagement, which upped the ante for us to design, build, and deploy two websites on a tight timeline.

Securing a Next-Gen Web Experience

Using Adobe Experience Manager, we built a responsive site with a consistent architecture and improved user experience. The solution delivers key benefits that include:

  • Flexibility to add or update pages with open templates
  • Efficiency for creating content and updating the site
  • Speed to deploy pages using new digital asset management

Our agency, Perficient Digital, also worked closely with Symantec to create a unique look and feel for the website, incorporating new and innovative branding.

“We chose Perficient because they understood our business and the direction we wanted to take with our new website. They also educated us on the concept of mobile first so we could coach content authors to write for a responsive site.”

– Maureen Smith, Director of Online Marketing, Symantec

Enhancing Market Position with New Customer Experience

With its new website and Adobe Experience Manager, Symantec is poised to reap multiple benefits and efficiencies:

  • Improved navigation helps users quickly find relevant information
  • New design and improved customer experience cements Symantec as a thought leader in cyber security
  • Enhanced efficiencies for the online marketing team when creating pages and updating content across the site
  • Future goals include building an eCommerce site on the new platform and optimizing internal processes such as extending self-service to content authors and creating templates for future site updates
