Perficient Ranked #6 on Business 2.0 Fastest Growing Tech List

AUSTIN, Texas (May 29, 2007)—Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, announced today that it is ranked #6 on Business 2.0 magazine’s B2 100, a list of the 100 fastest-growing technology companies in the country.

In addition, Perficient ranked #3 in the nation on the B2 100 Job Growth list with a 75.1% staff increase in 2006 and #10 on the B2 100 Stock Return list with stock appreciation in 2006 of 84%.

The B2 100 appears in the June issue of Business 2.0, a leading business and technology publication published by Time Warner Inc.

“We’re honored to be recognized by Business 2.0 as the sixth-fastest growing technology company in the country as well as a top-ten company for both job growth and stock appreciation,” said Jack McDonald, Perficient’s chairman and chief executive, who credits the company’s strong organic growth and successful mergers-and-acquisition strategy for the company's continued strong performance. “Most exciting, however, are the substantial growth opportunities that lie ahead for Perficient.”

According to Business 2.0, Perficient is “hot” because “CTOs are opening up their wallets again -- and hiring IT consultancies to tell them what to buy.”

According to the magazine, more than 2,000 tech companies were screened for possible inclusion. Candidates must have been publicly traded on a U.S. stock exchange for at least three years, have a market capitalization of at least $50 million, and have had positive operating cash flow over the past 12 months. Zacks Investment Research of Chicago ranked the resulting list using four financial criteria: growth in revenue, profit, and operating cash flow during the past three years, and the 12-month stock return as of Dec. 31, 2006. Cash flow growth counts for 40 percent of a company’s ranking. Each of the other criteria counts for 20 percent. Additional research was provided by FactSet.
