Perficient to Establish Domestic Delivery Center

Based in Lafayette, LA, the domestic delivery center will enhance Perficient’s global delivery capabilities

SAINT LOUIS (Sept. 4, 2014) – Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading information technology and management consulting firm serving Global 2000 and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced it will establish a domestic delivery center (DDC) in Lafayette, LA. The DDC will augment Perficient’s offshore delivery centers in India, China and Macedonia, further optimizing Perficient’s global network and comprehensive technology, delivery management and industry vertical expertise across North America.

“This launch will further strengthen Perficient’s ability to deliver business-driven technology solutions to the world’s leading enterprises,” said Perficient President and Chief Executive Jeff Davis. “Optimized consulting services delivery and software development requires having the capability and the expertise to staff the right skills, in the right place, at the right time. Our Lafayette-based center will broaden our flexibility and capacity to serve our growing roster of clients.”

“We spent several months carefully assessing multiple markets and options across the United States for the build out of our domestic delivery center. Lafayette emerged as the ideal location for this meaningful expansion,” said Kevin Sheen, general manager of global delivery for Perficient.  “Lafayette’s educated workforce and proximity to several universities were factors, as were the innovative programs established by supportive local and state leaders focused on economic growth.”

Using an Agile methodology, Perficient’s global delivery strategy focuses on providing clients with cost-effective, scalable and highly-configurable technology solutions. With the addition of the domestic delivery center, Perficient will add capabilities and improved service levels that cover the entire spectrum of the software development lifecycle. Projects can include:

  • Up-front business analysis using leading-edge visualization techniques and high fidelity prototyping
  • Software development using a wide range of platforms from Perficient’s strategic partners such as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and salesforce.com
  • Quality assurance and testing
  • Up to 24x7 support services through a managed service offering called SupportNet
