Perficient Webinar Will Address Top 5 Barriers to Digital Transformation

ST. LOUIS (February 1, 2016)Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT) ("Perficient"), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced it will host a live webinar Feb. 11 on digital transformation featuring special guest Nigel Fenwick, a vice president and principal analyst covering digital business strategy with Forrester Research, Inc.

The webinar, “Overcoming 5 Barriers to Digital Transformation,” will be a discussion led by Perficient digital transformation strategist Michael Porter on the top five barriers to a successful digital transformation and how several leading enterprises have overcome them.

The drive toward digital transformation – a means of modernizing the systems that create, deliver and sustain meaningful customer experiences – extends far into an enterprise. Because digital transformation is complex and requires rethinking and realigning a company’s strategy and organization, its implications are far-reaching and include vision, strategy, architecture, technology, and operational and cultural changes.

“Digital transformation has been a priority for a couple years now, but it's going to remain a critical focus area for a long time because the way that customers interact with businesses continues to change,” Porter says. “Throughout that change, the digital channel continues to be more important, and companies need to react to that.”

Fenwick and Porter will touch on a range of topics that will include:

  • Overcoming functional silos and resource scarcity.
  • Dealing with segregated customer data.
  • Addressing technical budgets that are in a downward spiral.
  • Moving from a product-centered to a customer-centered approach to business.
  • Breaking down the barriers between information technology and business.

The webinar will be at 1 p.m. Central time on Thursday, Feb. 11. Anyone interested in attending can register at http://www2.perficient.com/webinar/Overcoming-5-Barriers-to-Digital-Transformation. Upon registering, attendees will receive instructions on how to access the webinar.
