Perficient to Present with Cedars-Sinai on Social Media Governance and with TriHealth on IBM Watson at HIMSS17

ST. LOUIS (February 16, 2017)Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT) (“Perficient”), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced it will present on proactive social media governance and cognitive computing using IBM Watson during the 2017 HIMSS Conference and Exhibition, Feb. 19-23, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Fla.

Perficient’s first presentation, “Four Pillars of Social Media Governance,” at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time, Feb. 20, in Room 230A, will highlight proper social media governance infrastructure fueled by data insights derived from social media listening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The multi-specialty academic health science center created a safe environment that fosters interaction and population health education in ways that create positive impacts within the potentially risky environment of healthcare social media.

Melody Smith Jones, manager of Connected Health at Perficient, and Nelly Jacobo, director of digital strategy at Cedars-Sinai, will lead the session. Perficient and its Perficient Digital agency enhanced the medical center’s overall digital patience experience and are optimizing its patient portal, web, social media, and mobile experiences.

Perficient’s second presentation will be a Lunch and Learn session on “Lessons Learned in Applying Cognitive Outcomes,” at 1 p.m. Eastern time, Feb. 21, in Room 202B. Christine Livingston, director of Perficient’s IBM Watson practice, and Liberty Holt, manager of predictive analytics at TriHealth, will discuss how the Cincinnati-based health system leveraged cognitive computing and Perficient’s Watson expertise to reduce hospital readmission rates.

Recently, Perficient received a 2017 IBM Beacon Award for the Watson solution that TriHealth implemented.
