Engage Patients, Reduce Manual Processes and Drive Key Insights with Interoperability

Thursday, October 02, 2014 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM CT

Information is the cornerstone of healthcare organizations, and those that can transform data into key insights have a competitive advantage. Yet, information that is stored in separate, disconnected silos makes it challenging to strategically generate business intelligence, leaving business leaders to make decisions on intuition rather than hard data.

Communication between systems is paramount, and despite industry standards such as EDI/X12, HL7, and CDA, information delivery is not effective. Interoperability is a key component to effective communication because it provides the right information at the right time to the right people, engages patients and reduces manual interactions.  Perficient looks at system integration challenges from business architectural perspectives and applies technology to address them.

Join us for a webinar to learn:

  • The importance of data and business processes to leverage information
  • The importance of governance throughout the enterprise and program lifecycle
  • Real world use cases where IBM technology solved complex integration problems
  • Perficient’s multi-tiered approach to help guide successful business outcomes

Driving In-Store Traffic in the Digital Age

Tuesday, October 07, 2014 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CT

How do brands maintain and increase in-store traffic in an era when consumers are more digitally connected than ever and continue to shift their shopping behaviors online?

Even though consumers are living in an age where the digital space seems to dominate the shopping process, the internet is not “taking over” brick-and-mortar stores just yet. Some brands are successfully supplementing the store experience with compelling digital technologies to offer consumers a complete omni-channel experience. Brick-and-mortar stores still add significant value to the shopping experience beyond the sales that occur in the store by helping to increase online and mobile sales.

During this webinar, we will explore how brands can use digital solutions to drive in-store traffic. You’ll learn:

  • How stores are still crucial to driving online purchases and how the digital experience directly impacts store activity
  • The importance of a physical and digital omni-channel strategy
  • The top digital experiences, both in and out of stores, that are driving traffic and sales
  • How to produce actionable insights that drive foot traffic and optimize the in-store experience

Planning for Governance in Yammer While Working Like a Network

Wednesday, October 22, 2014 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CT

Enterprise social networks require governance to operate most effectively, especially in highly regulated industries. It's a slippery slope - the more restrictive your governance policies, the less likely you are to see users collaborating naturally and often. Plus, when you’re used to thinking of “governance” in a SharePoint context, it can be difficult to understand how to govern a Yammer network properly while still encouraging user engagement.

When embracing enterprise social, it's important to understand the differences between social collaboration and the collaboration characteristics of older, document-first systems. In this session, we will:

  • Discuss best practices for governing a Yammer network
  • Consider the philosophical differences of governance in SharePoint and Yammer, and why sometimes less is more
  • Look at the features and functions that Yammer provides for governing users and content

We will close with an audience Q&A.

Taking Ownership of Custom Database Roles in Oracle Clinical and RDC

Thursday, November 13, 2014 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM CT

One of the fundamental requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 is controlling user access in clinical trial applications. You do not want to unintentionally give someone access to something he or she should not have. To avoid these situations, Oracle Clinical and Remote Data Capture (RDC) comes with a set of predefined database roles that system administrators can set to enable users to perform specific tasks, yet prevent them from taking actions they are not authorized to take.

While the predefined roles serve as a good starting point, it is critical for organizations to decide which roles make sense for the way they do business. In such cases, it may be beneficial to create new custom roles. While this process is not overly complex, it is easy to overlook several aspects that can make all the difference.

Please join Perficient’s Lori Venable, a leading expert in Oracle Clinical and RDC, for a complimentary one-hour webinar designed to empower organizations to take ownership of their own database roles to ensure they remain compliant.
