The Henry Ford Receives Award for its Work with Perficient Digital

ST. LOUIS (June 23, 2016)Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT) ("Perficient"), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced that the work of its digital agency, Perficient Digital, in redesigning The Henry Ford website, has been recognized with a Silver MUSE Award through the American Alliance of Museums.

The Henry Ford was honored in the Online Presence category. Perficient Digital – a full-service digital agency focused on improving customer experiences – charted and shaped an expansive customer experience for The Henry Ford delivered across many digital channels and devices.

MUSE Awards recognize outstanding achievement in museum media. They are given annually to institutions and independent producers that use digital media to enhance gallery, library, archival, or museum experiences online and engage new audiences. Winning projects are selected by the Alliance Media and Technology Professional Network, an international group of museum media professionals.

The Henry Ford, in Dearborn, Mich., is an internationally recognized cultural destination with 26 million artifacts from American history and innovation. More than 1.6 million people annually visit the 250-acre campus, which includes the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, and the Ford Rouge Factory. Millions more visit online and benefit from the institution’s engagement programming. It is the largest indoor-outdoor museum complex in the United States.

“We are truly honored for the recognition we received for our work for The Henry Ford. More importantly, we are honored and thrilled with our ongoing partnership with them as we help digitally transform the entire customer experience,” said Steve Glauberman, a general manager of Perficient Digital. “There are so many more exciting things to come.”

Among Perficient Digital’s notable innovations for The Henry Ford:

  • Data and assets associated with physical artifacts bundled into a single, sharable digital “artifact card.” These engaging cards open The Henry Ford’s vast collection to social media and drive revenue by promoting links to retail and ticketing items.
  • Enhanced geolocation maps that show routes and destinations in precise detail.
  • Robust search tools that simplify discovery of The Henry Ford’s 50,000 digital artifacts. Visitors can access millions of educational and historic resources.
  • Distinct branded content in the form of a video series showing the hidden connections between items in the digital collection, and a narrative series on inventors and their inventions.
  • Integrated analytics for content performance evaluations across the site.
  • A cloud-based hosting solution with state-of-the-art performance, up-time, and security features.

“As our digital transformation began over two years ago, we knew we needed to find a partner that functioned as a true extension of our team. Perficient Digital has been just that, and they continue to be an amazing partner of The Henry Ford as we continue our journey,” said Matt Majeski, director of digital and emerging media at The Henry Ford.
