Perficient Digital Receives Hermes Creative Awards for Outstanding Solutions Serving Mohawk Flooring, Carhartt, The Henry Ford

Perficient Digital received a Platinum Award in the Mobile Website category for a site rebuild that serves Mohawk Flooring, the world’s largest manufacturer of flooring. The new site, which features product views using color swatches, allows customers to search Mohawk’s catalog by zip code to see which of the products are sold nearby. Perficient Digital enabled this seamless purchase path by creating a data bridge that combines every in-stock item and option with geolocation information to ease product distribution to customers.

Perficient Digital received a Gold Award in the Microsite category for a Fall 2016 Lookbook on behalf of Carhartt, the workwear clothing company. The microsite employs full-screen video, product and lifestyle galleries, macro-detail photography, animated GIFs, and insider quotes to showcase Carhartt’s seasonal inventory to fashion and news media and present stories of innovation related to each product.

Perficient Digital also won Gold in the Nonprofit category for redesigning TheHenryFord.org, the website of The Henry Ford indoor-outdoor museum complex in suburban Detroit. The website features more than 54,000 pages of rich visual design in a responsive customer experience across several channels and devices. Robust search tools simplify discovery of The Henry Ford’s 56,000 digital artifacts, and narratives and videos tell the story behind the artifacts, inventors, and inventions. As a result of Perficient Digital’s efforts, The Henry Ford increased online revenue by 24 percent, conversion rates by 19 percent, and online visits by 11 percent.

The Hermes Creative Awards honor creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, graphic design shops, production companies, web and digital creators, and freelancers. The international awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP).
