More Than 10,000 Employees Were About to See a Change

Our client needed to improve how its more than 10,000 employees communicate, connect, and collaborate in order to better serve patients. The organization chose Microsoft Office 365 (O365), including Teams, OneDrive, online versions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Exchange Online as the platform to provide employees the modern workplace productivity tools to do it.

Our expert organizational change management (OCM) team was engaged to prepare and guide the resultant change process and drive high levels of engagement, all while minimizing operational disruption.

A Healthy Dose of OCM

We developed a robust OCM strategy and enabled an early adopter network to prepare the users for change. We aligned leaders across groups – physicians, nursing, operations, human resources, marketing and communications, and IT – to facilitate the change.

With a tactful OCM strategy in place, we created an effective curriculum of instructor-led training for early adopters, executives, and executive assistants. We also developed on-demand eLearning modules, quick reference guides, and job aids for employees. In addition, employees received custom and weekly messages with links to online training and support materials to help them prepare for the change.

More than 10,000 employees across the enterprise have access to the latest version of Teams, OneDrive, online versions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and Exchange Online.
