Our client is a data-centric marketing technology company that must quickly develop and deploy new technologies to market in order to remain competitive. The company faced several hurdles to this as a result of previous attempts to outsource development. Problems included cumbersome documentation processes, very little team time alignment, production delays, and a lack of coordination between teams and vendors.

The company needed to produce a marketplace application – essentially an ecommerce site for clients and an advertising product recommendation engine – but development issues were delaying a minimum viable product.
