Zero-Tolerance Policy for Discrimination & Harassment
Perficient expressly prohibits any form of unlawful employee harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, or veteran status. Improper interference with the ability of Perficient colleagues to perform their expected job duties is absolutely not tolerated.
Perficient also makes it clear to our colleagues that their interactions with one another should always be grounded in dignity and respect. Perficient’s annual required colleague training and development program addresses the impact and prevention of discrimination, harassment, bullying, coercive behavior, and other unethical practices, and plans to implement additional training in the near future on topics such as unconscious bias. Perficient’s Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and Ethics and Financial Code of Ethics are all available on Perficient’s internal company portal.
Perficient further protects its colleagues from discrimination and harassment through the use of a reporting platform that allows colleagues to anonymously report any ethical violations, human rights abuses, inequitable treatment, discrimination, and any other form of concerning behavior or decisions. Colleagues are encouraged to utilize this reporting platform via phone or online and have the option of providing direct contact information or remaining anonymous. Regardless of whether the colleague reports anonymously or identifies themselves, the colleague is still able to receive further feedback and questions and provide more information.
Perficient’s internal colleague portal makes Perficient’s Complaint and Reporting Procedures policy available to all colleagues and contains a direct link to the anonymous reporting platform. In addition, colleagues are provided information regarding the reporting platform in multiple sections of the Perficient Employee Handbook and through other periodic company-wide communications.
All reports filed on Perficient’s reporting platform are reviewed and investigated by Perficient’s Human Resources department, Legal department, and members of Perficient leadership as applicable, and all such matters, including the investigative process and resolution, are reported to Perficient’s Board of Directors. Perficient does not tolerate retaliation in any form with respect to reports made by employees using the reporting platform.

Fostering a Culture of Diversity and Inclusion Inside and Outside the Office
Perficient's leaders and managers receive annual training on proper interviewing, hiring practices, and workforce engagement practices, and Perficient’s Human Resources and Legal departments maintain an open-door policy for leaders and managers to collaborate with HR/Legal department members regarding challenging situations, dynamics, and personalities in a manner that complies with Perficient’s commitment to human rights and individual dignity.
Perficient sponsors company-wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) such as Women in Technology, PRISM, Perficient Giving, Cultural Connections, and LiveWell. The Perficient Gives charitable match program focuses on organizations working on issues like increasing the percentage of women in computer science and advancing opportunities in STEM education for young people from all walks of life. With the Perficient Gives Global Grants Program, all global colleagues can nominate their favorite charity to receive a one-time $5,000 donation from Perficient.
Perficient also partners with other organizations on community-based programs and bootcamps designed to encourage women and historically underrepresented members of the tech industry, such as the Bright Paths Program and Mark Cuban Bootcamp.
When it comes to formal and informal company events outside of the workday, Perficient includes diversity, equity, and inclusion as a consideration in the planning process.
