Perficient Adds Max Hopper to BOD

Austin, Texas – October 9, 2002 – Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), a leading provider of eBusiness solutions to Global 3000 companies, today named Max D. Hopper, a renowned information systems veteran, to its board of directors. Hopper, widely recognized for his contributions in the field, was acknowledged as one of the decade’s 12 most influential IS executives by CIO Magazine in 1999.

About Max D. Hopper Max Hopper has more than forty years of experience in the information systems arena. He began his IS career in 1960 at Shell Oil and served with EDS, United Airlines and Bank of America prior to joining American Airlines. During Hopper’s twenty-year tenure at American Airlines he served as the company’s CIO, and as CEO of several business units. Much of Hopper’s work at American led to the formation of SABRE Group, a company with revenues in excess of $1.5 billion that provides technology to the travel industry. As a result of his contributions, Hopper has been called the “father of automation” in the travel industry. Most recently, Hopper founded Max D. Hopper Associates, Inc. in 1995, a consulting firm that specializes in the strategic use of IT and eBusiness. He currently serves on the board of directors for several companies such as Metrocall, Inc. and Gartner Group. Hopper was recognized by Computerworld in 1992 as one of the top 25 contributors in the field of IS, and in 1999 he was recognized by the editors of CIO Magazine as one of the decade’s 12 most influential IS executives.
