Perficient to Showcase Oracle Cloud-Based Financial Capabilities at Kscope19

SAINT LOUIS (June 20, 2019) – Perficient, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRFT) (“Perficient”), the leading digital transformation consulting firm serving Global 2000® and other large enterprise customers throughout North America, today announced its silver sponsorship of the premier Oracle developer conference, Oracle Development Tools User Group (ODTUG) Kscope19, held June 23-27 in Seattle.

Modern day enterprises must adopt new and innovative business optimization solutions if they wish to remain competitive in constantly changing market atmospheres. Cloud-based programs provide businesses opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies and accelerate the speed-to-market roadmap.

“For enterprises to maintain a high degree of agility, their ease of access to financial information and their ability to anticipate change are vital,” said Hanny Shanar, general manager of Perficient’s Oracle EPM practice. “Oracle’s comprehensive cloud platform supports a variety of capabilities. With Perficient’s help, enterprises can gain the foresight needed to close the gap between vulnerability and operational preparedness.”

Perficient thought leaders will provide two presentations during Kscope19 demonstrating key Oracle Cloud capabilities designed to maximize the functionality of financial operations.

OAC Cube Designer – Manipulate Your Hierarchies on the Fly

Included in the Essbase Cloud Service, the Cube Designer is a Smart View extension for the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and offers a variety of functions centralized within familiar software programs, such as Excel, with the convenience of a cloud platform.

“The feature-rich nature of the Cube Designer makes it easy to create and maintain complex database systems,” said Peter Vu, Perficient solutions architect. “One of the most compelling aspects of the Cube Designer is its intuitive nature, allowing users to easily identify metrics, make changes and export the database to the cloud.”

Vu will provide deeper insight on the topic during a presentation taking place on Wednesday, June 26, from 2:15-3:15 p.m., in Room 211 on Level 2 at the Washington State Convention Center.

Planning and Budgeting vs Strategic Modeling in EPBCS

While many enterprises have shifted to cloud-based financial planning solutions, some organizations still rely on customized spreadsheets and impact analysis for their strategic, long-range planning and budgeting. By adopting the Strategic Modeling framework, enterprises shift their efforts to a purpose-built planning method integrated within Oracle’s Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Solution (EPBCS).

“Finance departments that rely on outdated procedures risk limiting their accuracy and scalability when forecasting their financial planning,” said Nandini Nehru, Perficient senior solutions architect. “The Strategic Modeling framework helps ease these organizations from on-premises procedures to cloud-based solutions.”

Nehru will further discuss the subject during a presentation taking place on Wednesday, June 26, from 3:30-4:30 p.m., in Room 6A on Level 6 at the Washington State Convention Center.
